I've seen a lot of videos that use the zoom in/out function excessively - as if trying to emphasize the beginning or the ending of every sentence. Sometimes several times in one sentence. Extremely visually annoying and distracting.

What did I miss? I only noted 6 x recommendations / mistakes identified. Can anyone tell me what I missed?

2. Have a solid intro
3. Change the screen every 3-6 seconds
4. Use the right kind of music (including SFX)
5. Get feedack
6. Conclude to refer to another video

The audio in the video you’re criticizing is 10x better. Also, quick cuts can make a video nauseating—too many editors blindly follow some 3-6 second rule without considering the overall effect. Rhythm and timing matter when editing.
