2 steps forward and one step back is still a step forward :]

Then the minor inconvenience sends you flying down the staircase.

Your healing doesn't have to be linear. Heal at your own pace. :) You got this!

literally its a pain. suddenly, you make it and can feel the closest to happy and normal you’ve ever been, and that progress with exercising and schedules and responsibilities hard plummets back down.

I’m struggling really badly right now but I hope I can push through

And sometimes you go through it multiple times.... but don't give up, always remember after a setback you get better. Something I've kept in mind that helps me is, "one day at a time." You don't get better overnight.

Currently on the mend and hopefully I’ll recover. To the person reading this, we’re not alone. Remember that you got people in your corner. Talk to them and grow. We all got this!

My dad had depression when I was a little kid. He always stayed and never came out of his room. Even if he would come out of his room, he would only stay for a bit. My little sister barely got to see him and spend time with him because of his illness. He later told us that he was going to commit suicide if it wasn’t for us. Now he is living a happier life with us.

This has been my life for nearly a decade and I hate feeling like I'll never be okay (or wondering if I care enough to even want to be okay). Depression is a beast and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy 😒🙁🤐
