The "ghost tracks" usually appear in other biomes when you call a Monster in, so if the Scoutflies aren't attuned to it, you can pick them up and be guided to the right zone without getting lost. So I guess Tzizi here with their teeny tiny legs does something odd with it and makes them just appear in surplus.

Havr you compare this method to calling the CoralPukei? I always did the Pukei. As soon as you call it and come out from camp 3, there are tracks all over right in front of the camp.

This video couldn't have come at a better time for me. Just got back into Iceborne PC after playing on the PS4 I decided I missed the 60fps too much so came back with this new festival. Long story short I came back at the best time and now working on leveling the coral region for that sweet sweet health aug for all my Raging Brachy weapons. Thanks Gaijin you're a life saver!
