SAY....I am my OWN revolving cake stand. I put the cake on the plate in the center of my round kitchen table and I revolve around it! I am magical!

this is literally the only "you're doing it wrong" video i actually agree with. i worked in a bakery for a while and this is exactly how the cake people did it.

Some of the wrong examples are a bit extreme. I mean if someone even attempted to ice a cake with that rock hard cold icing i think they need to get their head examined first. anyone with a brain could see straight away that it wouldnt spread at all.

Once you put your cold coat of frosting on and you put it in the refrigerator and then you take it out to put the second coat how do you end up warming up the second coat to be a little bit warmer to spread on the cake?

awesome! i am a 30 year old man (haha ikr) who has all of a sudden fallen in love with baking cakes for people. I would make amazing cakes but destroy them when it came to the frosting part. I made the rookie mistake of putting my frosting in the fridge UGH!

While I never made the mistakes she mentioned, ... some of those makes me think that, anyone who did make those mistakes obviously grew up around parents who did not cook.
