I would've added a STRONG espresso into the batter along with the good cocoa powder, and olive oil would preferably be in the batter as well.

It's so sad that People start to only comment sh** under CHOW Videos lately.
Things like "what if I like my brownies bonedry" are just plain dumb(then go ahead, bake them until they are bone dry, if you like it. Most other People probably just don't like it that way -.- ) or "These are cupcakes, not brownie" is just as stupid. If you make a chocolate batter made to make cupcakes with and you put it in a square tin, is the outcome already a brownie? No, it's chocolate cake. Brownies are about texture and taste, not about what you bakee them it. Plus, it really seems easier to me to get them out of the Muffin tin...
Don't get me wrong, it is okay to state your opinion("Maybe the salt and oil MAY not be my taste").
Oh and one Thing: We all heard EVERY possible joke about their dorito concommé, so PLEASE don't repeat it again...

this isn't the perfect brownie, , it's sunk because you opened the oven door while it was still forming the outer crust which is the worst thing to do while baking anything!

BROWNIES ARENT DEFINED BY SHAPE. YOUR DUMBASS COMMENTS ARE MAKING MY EYES BLEED! Good job, chow :) This was my first time making brownies, my grandmother was in the hospital. She told me it would be wonderful, if before she died shed taste something sweet id do homemade. I cried, and i promised myself to make her brownies before anything bad happened. :( I never really knew how to cook anything. I was always the one in the family who was a late bloomer, never really intrested in cooking and baking. But a promise is a promise. I looked at a lot of youtube vids on this, thank you very much :) I finished my goal a week ago. With lots of practice. Yes I know, your probably thinking, This bitch is over exagerating, making brownies isnt that hard. But it was very hard for me :(  LOTS OF TRIAL AND ERRORS. After looking at this, I finally did it awesome soft brownies :) Delisious af x) Im 20 btw and my grandmother passed away 3 days ago :(

Yeah I totally love this recipes and her style. It looks awesome. I've had dark chocolate specked with sea salt and its great and some olive oils would probably enhance the flavor. Be open minded guys.

I find that Duncan Hines brownie mix is the best, most consistent brownie mix you can buy at the grocery store. I've tried Betty Crocker, and the fancy chocolate brand that begins with a G, and the only one that is easy and always fudgy is the Duncan Hines one (I usually get dark chocolate because it's so much richer in chocolate flavor). I always add slightly more cocoa powder and some ground coffee to accent the chocolate. And you get the great brownie with the crispy top and fudgy, rich middle if you don't overcook it. Also, instead of using cupcake tins, you could just line your brownie pan with parchment paper for easy removal and no sticking. I find that usually, the thicker the batter, the fudgier the brownies. Just some advice for people who are seeking it!
