1:51:50 So essentially, in Tekken, you are able to customize your character to quite an extent, and you can unlock details that can, as Sakurai stated, make your character gold. Such as a golden outfit, golden hair, golden etc.

Just a thing I've noticed, with very few exceptions, purple is often a color associated with evil in Japan, especially when paired with black, and since Kazuya is considered one of the main villains of the Tekken series, this could be the designers at BandaiNamco further driving Kazuya's "I'm the bad guy" vibes home

3:34, i know that his white skin can be a reference to many things, but i've always liked to believed that its inspiration came from a famous albino gorilla who lived in a spanish zoo. This gorilla was very famous by the time melee and brawl came about. His name was Copito de Nieve (snowflake), and i'm pretty sure that even the most recent spanish generations have heard about it, despite the fact that he passed away many years ago.

0:56 fun fact: wario also has this style as well but in the drawing the Mario looked a bit thick

I feel like it's important to mention a lot of these skins can actually take inspiration from games released after a smash title. Like, Kid Icarus Uprising was probably in development before Brawl, so it wouldn't be surprising if the Brawl look was actually taken from Uprising.

But, I'm just spitballing!
