I'm not even a Persona fan but even I think Joker's costumes are excellent!

He has colors that directly reference other games in the series (the main colors theme was really clever), a cool color that references another character, an actual alternate costume and a recolor that's also a reference.

I thought the last one would be mostly inspired in Akechi’s uniform, you may not see the resemblance but at least I notice some similitudes.

This is why ultimate is so good. They are not just recolours for VS mode but actual changes that reference other things from the series (characters, themes, etc).

Like how Snake is a mix of both Solid Snake and Naked Snake so he has not just sneaking suit but the camos as well, and then ultimate added a couple more.
