The origin of Banjo's pink outfit is really quite simple.

The red Banjo andd Purple Kazooie are what giving me off Crash and Spyro the Dragon Vibes because of their fur colors.

Banjo and Kazooie are
lots of fun in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. It was their inclusion here that got me into playing Banjo-Kazooie when the game dropped on NSO.

I can get behind their alts being basic recolors. Helps to align with Banjo & Kazooie being a simple fighter.

Before Bad Fur Day, there was Twelve Tales Conker 64 where Conker had red fur. That might the reference to the red alt.

correction: the Black and Blue variant is Jotaro Kujo and Star Platinum, and the Yellow on Yellow is DIO.
