It should have been a 90 minutes movie and take place entirely inside the arena.

'Avuncular Uncle', now there's a name for an indie rock band.

Not sure the director had ever been to a gig ....waaaay to many people in the foyer at all times

Yeah this movie demands too much of the audience to be able to enjoy it to the end. Josh Hartnett carries the whole thing but he can only do so much himself, he deserved better

I saw the trailer and thought “this looks like it could be great”. Then it said M. Night and I thought “no” 😂😂

Hayley Mills from the Parent Trap in a movie in which Josh Hartnett plays a parent caught in a Trap.

M Night needs to write the second half and then write the first.

wow they leave the stadium and the movie keeps going? that pretty much deflated about 90% of the enthusiasm i had to see this ever.

Perhaps M. Night should call it a Day....

Josh Hartnett was great and I thought he and his daughter in the movie had believable chemistry. But you really have to suspend disbelief to watch this once they leave the arena.

Great first hour. Last 45 a shambles, but an entertaining one

'American Psych0' meets 'Psych0' meets 'Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour.'

Always remember, when going to a M. night Shyamalan movie, to take your 60 foot plot-armored crane with you for the 500 tons of disbelief you need to suspend to stay engaged in his stories. It also helps if you have some plot-exposure ear filters too, to get through the incredibly silly dialogue he makes his characters say in his films. “I’m her uncle, her mother’s brother”. An actual line from the movie.

Trap is listed as a horror, and the trailer makes you think it’s a horror. It isn’t. It’s maybe a thriller, sort of like Glass but not as entertaining. Josh Hartnett is great, Jonathan Langdon does a great job (and arguably has the best scene). If you liked Glass and all the other villain films Shyamalan has done, this will be your thing. If you still haven’t quite forgiven him for The Happening, I doubt this will change your mind

I am absolutely baffled that
Mark liked Glass. I'd be fascinated as to what he liked about that film.

This film asks you to go along with so many events that are completely implausible and defy logic.

Trap started off really well then the final act falls dead. Not really been feeling Shyamalan’s films of recent years, it’s like he’s forgotten how to find a solid twist finale.

It is a shambles but it was wildly entertaining. The way the second half with Raven at Hartnett's house plays out like some sitcom is iconically ridiculous

Josh Hartnett was great and it was very good to see him back. I liked the film a lot, but scoffed at the lack of protocol by SWAT and FBI officers towards the end. He would not have had those chances.

Film goes so off the rails yet still entertains. Vintage middle of the road M Night.
