So glad to see that nice dark screen mode still has a bright white main and drop down menu for working at night. I personally love the burning of my retinas.

I'm currently use cinnamon for my desktop and just installed xfce on an old laptop. I kind of prefer the xfce actually. Well at least the newest version. Its has almost all the same setting and customization options as cinnamon. And actually it has a few that cinnamon don't have. Cinnamon has a few that xfce doesn't have but not ones I care about. Cinnamon lacks some basic ones though. Like not being able to turn the panel dark or light by itself. Or being limited on how big you can make the panel width wise but also length. I also like the menu/folder directory design better in xfec. A little more simply looking, and I like that. Both have the same style and icon options. Xfce has a little more though. Same with desktop images, xfce has a little more options.

Xfce uses 600 MB of RAM when idle on real machine.
