I bought a unit from Eonon in 2017 and still have it running now. While I will say when I first installed it I was very happy with it, I have to point out a problem with these devices.
As with Android Phones, they also become obsolete and unusable in a short time. After a few years, I guess due to app updates and such, the device became extremely sluggish.
Today, I can't even open google maps or waze without the entire thing crashing. You will need to get a new one every 1-2 years if you want to maintain a good experience.
Also the hotspot internet is more of a pain in the arse than you made it out to be. It's pretty annoying having to turn your phone's hotspot on every time you get in the car.
One more point is that mine did not properly support android auto as it advertised but it was 5 years ago. I hope they have improved

Liked the video and the review, but you spelled Eonon wrong in the video title. I’ve had an Eonon head unit in my F150 for 2 years now, and only had miner issues with it. This review had made me want to buy one of the new upgraded ones. Thanks again for the review.

Hi, how did they manage to have wireless android auto using Zlink? Mine only shows wired android auto and wireless airplay with using the app. Do you need a certain key?

hi, , could anyone tell me how far does the screen protrude out from the unit please, im thinking of buying one for my Mercedes vito camper but as the gear stick is high on them im not sure if the screen would prevent me putting the van in gear or not... any help advice would be great fully appreciated 👍
