Excellent! I was connecting to Android Auto via cable from my LG v20 to Pioneer Avic-8400NEX for over a year, but the last update made it impossible to get AA -even with a cable! I just ordered a Galaxy S9+ and am looking forward to putting the cables back in the glove box! Thanks!

I know you can use headunit reloaded but what if you connect an android auto wireless USB adapter to a tablet with an OTG adapter or with a powered USB type C hub so you can charge the tablet and plug in the wireless android auto dongle at the same time?

My Kenwood was not able to do wireless until I updated the firmware. If yours is not connecting, see if there is an update. It feels miraculous when it works without a usb cable.

Better late than never I guess. I couldn't wait for Samsung to enable wireless Android Auto so I upgraded to a Pixel 3. Really liking the wireless and use it everyday.
