How to Setup Wireless Android Auto with Ease.

We are going over the steps to setup wireless Android Auto in a 2020 Mustang GT with SYNC 3 using a Motorola wireless car adapter.

Important:
(1) This wireless car adapter is only intended to work inside your Android Auto compatible car together with your smartphone which has the Android Auto app installed. If your vehicle does NOT have Android Auto with the phone connected via USB cable, this device with not work.

(2) This device is for Android Auto ONLY, Not Apple CarPlay.

(3) To use Android Auto wirelessly, your phone should be running version 11 or higher of the Android operating system and 5 GHz Wi-Fi.

Can you post the name of the adapter? And what kind of wireless charger do you have and is it mounted to your a/c vent?

Some dongles do both wifi and bluetooth connections. Currently running on Bluetooth and when Google Pixel is on wireless charging, the phone gets pretty hot. Wondering if wifi connection to dongle would reduce this heat. Any suggestions?
