Working at a construction company we send customers project update and completion vids and photos. While quality is important we need something that is quick to put up in the air, grab our pics and footage and edit on our company laptops. With those things considered we use the 4 pro. We love it and our customers love it. Just get a colored skin to wrap it in so that it doesn't look like a flying iPhone or apple device. :)

P4P if I could only have one. Image quality and portability. Picking one up in a couple of days ;)

I don't think anyone will regret picking up one of those. We have tested Inspire 2 and P4P to and they are absolutely great machines

I ordered a Mavic Pro Fro combo kit from Drone World. I will be using it for Watersports. We wakeboard and wakesurf a lot. So a small size is awesome.

Agree with your assessment. Getting the Mavic Pro for learning, portability and did I say, learning.I definitely want the Inspire 2 with the X5S, but will wait until I feel like a pro.
You hit all the right points, in the right order and at the right depth. Well done!

Great video, always wanted a mavic for its size and video quality. This makes me want one even more

this is very helpful. I'm studying for part 107. and trying to decide what to buy. had been leaning to p4p. but some say to be taken seriously for hire you need inspire. SOI might start with mavic and then upgrade to inspire...

I want a mavic just for location scouting, wouldn't use the footage for anything but especially for landscape work a drone is amazingly useful just to fly around and look for light and where is worth hiking to before you spend hours walking around.

Awesome comparison video! I chose the Mavic Pro because of its size. I hike all the time and I just throw it in my backpack when I go.

Inspire 2 with X5s, CineSSD Station, 480 CineSSD x2, Focus controller, and Charging Station full of batteries. Just need to sell my truck first.

I got the P4P. Best of both worlds with very little sacrifice. This is my first drone and I gotta give it to DJI, I learn how to fly within a few hours. Now just got do fly-to 🎥 camera coordination. I'm getting the hang of it rather quickly if I do say so myself. Be on the look out for awesome Houston shots!

Mavic! Own a P4 that is soon to be sold. I travel a lot and I am so exited with the new small form factor that performs at that.

I almost went for the mavic but then the p4p arrived and was what i've always wanted as a drone, 1" sensor and quality is now on par with mirrorless and dslr's that are often used together, received mine 2 days but the weather didnt let me test it, it's build quality got better and better since my previous p2 and p3p.

Nice comparasion but what if you had to choose one, the p4p fits in a backpack and its easy to carry too though not so easy...

a friend and i purchased a Phantom 3 standard as our first drone over the summer just to add to the arsenal and possibly get some cool arial shots. After learning on the p3 i am pretty sure that the Mavic Pro will be our next drone very shortly. One thing we did not think about was how the P3 (or drones in general) are not really a "pull it out real quick and grab a shot" type situation, i feel the size and portability of the mavic will make it something that is used more often, rather than a once in a while tool.

I will say the most frustrating limitation is the fixed aperture, so to see the p4p's adjustable aperture is beautiful... It just made it very difficult to take video in the daylight when you want to keep your shutter locked to a specific value.
