I should also mention that this part of Colorado is 9000' above sea level!! The drones did great.

Wow! Ed, you, and Sean really put these two through their paces. Great work showing the real-life capabilities of these two drones.

I loved the Gimbal comparison most creators would never think of doing that

The Evo 2 now has low noise props.... HUGE improvement 🙂

Definately Evo wins. Bear in mind that a lot of people live in NFZ and Autel carries the heavy weapon : NFZ FREE. Thanx for your video. My next buy is definately Evo.

Thanks, that narrowed the choice down to one of each!

Great job guys and boy that looked like a lot of fun challenging those drones! Had to be a little chilly out there! Thanks for sharing!

Autel white balance is miles off. It gives a massive magenta or blue tint. Even in 'Sunshine' mode, which should be pretty easy to nail, its not even close to accurate. By far my biggest complaint about the Autel. I've been using it professionally for over a year, and it's a nightmare to get it looking color accurate in post.

I still like the evo better. Better quality image in my opinion. Love the colors out of it

Good comparison, colors look off on the Autel. Snow looks like it has a pink tint

Great video, and I loved the location. I have both these drones also, and enjoy flying and capturing video on both of them. But as you said the Mavic 3 is much faster in normal mode, and the auto exposure and auto white balance is a bit different as well. It was nice to Sean in the video, he is a great guy. Thanks for sharing Ed.

Should do another compare since all the updates

I have these 2. Very different animals, both great in almost completely different ways. DJI scores with autonomous flight modes that work nearly flawless, Autel with Mission flights, sharp video considering the smaller sensor. Smart Controller vs RC Pro goes to DJI, AUTEL has that beautiful 2000 nits brightness, but it's huge, heavy and poor file management. You literally are back to pulling SD cards and putting them in the PC.. DJI auto uploads to my One Drive. Which would I give up? NEITHER! Not for anything else out there.

Great comparison video! While the Autel looks a lot more crisp to me, there's something about the Mavic that looks more cinematic. I'm not a videographer, but could someone please explain why that is?

How hard would you say adjusting the colors in post production would be for the Autel? I liked it's color in some of the shots, but I think the Mavic did better in others.

Thank you guys, doesn't snow here in the part of Aussie I live... So I found this beautiful looking :) Both drones look great, but the Mavic 3 looks a touch better. I've been waiting for you to do a review on the Lumix GH6. Or you not shooting Lumix anymore ? Anyway stay safe bro and keep the awesome content rolling in.

That Mavic did not have the Hasselblad camera

Was the Autel a V1 or V2?
One other note - I live in an area that is blanketed by no-fly zones. I find that DJI's geofencing has prevented me from flying within permissible limits (to include not allowing motor start) on more than one occasion, whereas the Autel's does not.
Note - I have a Mavic 2 Pro and an Autel Evo II V3.
