Honda Misfire Not a Tune Up

Will a Tune Up Fix My Honda ?

In many occasions a multiple misfire random fault may be attributed to a simple valve adjustment and related flash programming of the PCM to correct. In most occasions you may not feel any irregularities in the engine operation and will solely have the pesky check engine light on.

Take that seriously.

Lash adjustment should be performed every 30 000 miles , while the Honda Pilot can be especially prone to valve train faults.
Delaying the crucial valve adjustment could cause a burnt valve and more of an expense, as the cylinder head\s will need to be overhauled.

In future videos we will cover other common misfire faults such as plugged EGR ports and failing ignition coils.

Any questions please chime\comment in ( be nice peoples :)

Ours still misfires after valve adjustment, but the interesting thing is: when the CEL light flashes, we can shut off the engine and restart and the misfire is no longer present. Thoughts?

I keep having misfires and a random multi code I have replaced spark plugs, cleaned intake cover, ran an intake cleaner through it, replaced air box, PCV valve, and the codes came back so I just had a valve adjustment hopefully that works.

It's been a nightmare with my mechanic with this misfire issue. He's taking about something needing to machined or whatever. Idk what to do.

There's a bulletin on this issue. Oil is fouling the plugs out. Honda will resolve the issue.
