All these years later, and you're still helping the little guy. Found my bad coil and went from panic to calm in no time at all. Thanks!

You da man! This video was right on. I removed the connectors to determine faulty cylinder. To double sheck, I swapped the coil to another cylinder and the problem followed the coil. Installed a new coil and it did the job!!

I did this and I found one bad. They wanted hundreds and hundreds at the shop. Thanks so much. $40 bucks later, looking sexier to my wife, her car is back to running great.

I did this test today and had the exact same response, wen't out bought a coil at local store and that fixed it. I had po300, 301, 302, 303, 305, 306 and po1399 in the the error codes but the issue was maybe effecting most of the cylinders. The cost was $47 for the part. You saved me a bunch of money... Thank you!

So simple.
I should have thought of this on my own.
Thank you. I had a bad one, sure enough.

I can't begin to tell you how many times this has happened on my 1999 Odyssey. it's always the coil. My solution is to just run the car, pull off one coil at a time and if the engine stumbles ore, the coil is good...if nothing happen, that's the bad coil...I replace it and move on. I think I've replaced 10 of them since we bought it new.

I replaced them all after running test. & my car still doing the same. Autozone claim it is a EGR I’m exhausted after spending all this money for spark plugs and all coils for it to still
Have issues. Not one time you’ve mention what if you replaced all coils and plugs & still continue to have issues. Because that’s where I’m at. Come out with a part 2. As a mechanic or someone who his on here trying to come out with professional

Question for you. My '09 Fit is having the p0300, p0301, p0302, p0303 & p0404 all at the same time? Has recent "correct" NGK plugs & only the engine only has about 120k miles. Car goes into limp mode, CEL flashing, wont rev past 1500rpm. I cleared the trouble codes, drove 65 miles & got the same codes, but the CEL was OFF at idle this time & started flashing anytime I attempted to rev past 1500rpm in neutral w/ the car in limp mode, the CEL turns off immediately when the RPM returned to idle. I reset the codes again & seemingly back to normal operation.

Any thoughts on this?

I'm looking at my buddies 2004 Honda pilot, codes are P0300 - 0306, I can clear the codes and wait 30 mins while the car is running and the codes changed to P0300, p0303, and p0306. cleared the codes and now only P0303 is showing, ive done a leak down test on all cylinders to check for a burnt valve but all is good. I'm going to clean the throttle body, and egr valve, and possibly the intake manifold, , all plugs and coils have been replaced

What if that’s not the issue. I replaced the spark plug and the coil. And it still has a code. Ana shakes when I start it. I guess maybe check the lines for breaks. What’s next

I have 2 Honda's with the 3.5 engine, both have 130, 000.. miles on them.
Both started fouling #3 & #5 plugs and using oil, I bought and installed the s-vcm on both vehicles and instantly both problems are gone.
No more Eco mode but, No More problems.

@The car Doctor....2001 Honda Accord 2.3l V-Tech. Codes P1259, P0300, P0301, P0302, P0303, P0304...Changed out V-Tech Solenoid, plugs, and wires. It still have the codes. The car sputters on take off and at around 2300 to 2500 RPMS. Now it shows that the #3 cylinder is not firing. Removing the plug wires one at a time and engine idle changed but when removing the #3 plug idle did not change. Please help! I am sick of working on this car.

HELP!!! 2005 Honda (POS) Odyssey. Yet another problem. Got a P0134. Brought to shop. They suck. Firestone. They said I had a bad oring in a fuel injection. I replaced them all. Now code says P0132 134 and 135. I replaced all plugs with $74.00 Iridium. I replaced all the coils to the tune of $350.00. Reset codes and they came back. WTF. What could it be damn it? I mean, darn it.

My wife's 2014 Honda CRV has P0300, P0301, P0302. The engine is a 4 cylinder 4.2 Liter. I switched the #1 coil pack with number 4. No change except that now I was getting P0354 (Ignition Coil D Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction). I put the #4 coil pack back, then replaced #1 and #2 coil packs. No change. Then I replaced #1 and #2 plugs. No change. The old plugs were blackened around the cylinder end but no real signs of corrosion. I'm guessing wiring? What else could it be?
