You forgot the part where you have to create an account on the printer manufacturer's website and install an app to your phone whose sole purpose is get your computer to be able to print to the printer.

2 printing tips for everyone:

1: get a single function black and white laser printer for home use. Whether you use it a ton or once a year it should work every time with minimal fuss.

2: if you need to print in color, just go to a print shop and pay to get it done. It's cheaper than replacing the ink cartridges every time you want to print in color because it dried up in the year since you last used it. Also likely better quality.

Obviously this doesn't apply to printing professionals but they don't need advice anyways.
