Changing out your switch plates can make such a difference! Especially for this gallery wall I knew it would be wonderful to give the light switch a little upgrade. You can see that I made an utter mess of painting over the switch and switch plate a year ago when I painted the room… nothing you can’t fix! I just rubbed it out with rubbing alcohol and it came right off. I found this switch plate on Etsy and am excited to do this to more of my rooms ✨

It turned out really beautiful. A tip: use a golden colored nail polish too cover the metal screws. Then they blend in. Another great and cheap idea is using cool wallpaper on the light covers too. Love your house and style. Love from Norway 🇳🇴

Switching these out makes SUCH a disproportionately huge difference I did it in my bedroom at my first apartment and every single time I turned the light on or off it made me smile :)
