Nick takes us on a tour of his luxury backyard tiny home shed conversion. In 2019, Nick purchased a pre-fab shed, had it delivered to his property, and spent 18 months building it out into a luxury tiny home. In this video he breaks down the costs as well as the process and timeline of having the shed delivered and set up on a foundation with utilities.

I got the 10x20 one for $5500 (5% off cuz it was a repo). With a block crawl space, framing/finishing inside, and hooked into full home systems, I added 2 windows on the back wall too. it cost me about &20k. I love it.

Nick this is the best shed conversion ever! It clearly stands out because of your great taste plus your heart and soul. I appreciate your thoughts of how this would temporarily help those living in tents.

States need to start changing laws around building codes. Making them okay as an ADU only helps people who already have homes. There are SO many seniors living in cars, it's shameful. Many people could be housed if they simply made these LEGAL.

The problem here in PA is that it is impossible to set this on land in PA except as ADU. Building codes are horrible in PA.

Absolutely 💓 what he did with this space! The finishing, esthetics, backdrop property…AMAZING and the shed structure sooo affordable 👍🏼

I like shed conversions a lot. The one thing about the kitchen I don’t like is the awkward placement of the cooktop. Seems very impractical.

I think you could extend the porch out 4 or 5 feet by moving the railing to the eadge of the new area. Then you'd have more room to swing or sit in the sun area. Also more area for other people to sit on the.porch.

This is the most stunning shed interior I've ever seen! His interior design eye is top-notch. Once I have land, I would 100% copy this build in a heartbeat.

Love it! It's beautiful! That upper hand grab in loft is a great idea. The safety rail in smaller loft. The classy bathroom, cosy living zone & gorgeous kitchen. It has it all.
( One thing I'd change is hot plate placement. It's too far set back for me. ) 😁👍♥️

I like everything he’s showed. I think the porch should be a little bit bigger so you can swing better in your swing. Also, the stove is in a weird spot to me. It’s too close to the sink while they’re so much more open space available where it could go.

Very nice. Both the man & the house. Love how he thinks about using it to help provide affordable housing. Thank you. ✌️🙏

7:39 it's a gorgeous build. I just have to say, this man has never cooked and/ or slept in the loaf. Other than those two rather major things, I love it.

He’s such a big dude that it’s amazing he can fit in a compact space. I really like the natural elements.

I've done several of these. You can do so much with them. I am going to sell or rent out my 5th wheel after I finish my mini-cottage for me to live in. Very small! But for me - at 74 - I don' t want a lot of space. And easier to just walk out the door - get in truck and take a trip! Love the finishes he used. Great job!

Beautiful setting, beautiful tiny space! Using a shed is so practical. There is no reason it couldn't be a permanent tiny home option. It's 60 sq ft larger than my home. The floor plan, design, and finishes are all good choices. Thanks for the tour! 💗

Such a cute cozy tiny house. I love Index, it's so peaceful and quiet out there😎🌺

Very cute and nice finishes. Its a tiny home so expanding and enlarging this or that space defeats the object. It is incredible how well the space is utilised. ❤
