mike know this about building: there are ALWAYS unexpected setbacks, and when youre planning on your own you can bet it happens tenfold. i can see it doesnt discourage you (which is awesome) so please dont let those inexperienced about the nature of life and change discourage you as well! stay crushing (my tiny home project was meant to take 8 months and now it wont be ready for another 6mo lol, all in good time though🎉)

Bro, you need to get you some toast, and come to Michigan. Beautiful country side, and the city is live all day and all night.im no stalker, I have my own family to follow around, but you need to come to Michigan. No hurricanes, more fresh water than anywhere in the world, no floods, we've had one in my 45 years here. No gators, almost no tornados, and no deadly snakes" except the Michigan rattler", and no crazy deadly bugs other than the brown recluse and black widow.Which e extremely rare.Michigan is literally the safest state, and isn't too expensive to live in upstate. Trust me, Michigan is where to go. Buy your land, and build your tiny home wherever you want, but Michigan is close to your family in Indiana, and we're outside of the bullshit. I'm telling you brother, man to man, we're where it's at far as safety, and quality of living. My wife and I work at Ford, and we have 4 children and a grand child, and none of us want or need for anything. Do what you do brother, best of luck!! Wish I cud see Alaska!
