Chair Yoga 28 Day Series - Some Seated, More Standing. In today’s practice, we’ll explore poses for our 28 day journey including standing Quadruped pose. You’ll need a chair and a yoga block (or substitute) for today’s class.

Welcome to Bottoms Down Chair Yoga. I’m Carol and I’m happy you’ve chosen to spend this time together to stretch, lengthen and strengthen your body.

You Did It! This 40 minute yoga practice is day 28 of our 28 day yoga journey together. We made it to the end - Way to go! I'm so honored that you shared this challenge with me. I hope you'll check out other Bottoms Down classes and continue to practice chair yoga with me and your fellow Bottoms Downies.

You’ll need a chair and a yoga block (or substitute). We’ll start seated and move to a standing position and return to seated.

Hello Carol! Just one of the things I love about your practice is you continue to remind us to pull the belly and sit tall in our chair or standing positions. It is so important to have those ques repeated❣So thank you so much I will continue to meet you for yoga and look forward to it.😃❣ I am 66 and only if I knew now when I was younger I'd be is much better shape. Both my knees hurt and if I had stretched especially the hamstrings & iliotibial band I believe I wouldn't have this pain....but even the younger may not have taken the older me seriously 🙄 Again, thank you Carol 💕

Hi Carol, I am located in Virginia and haven't done yoga in years. My friend, Jen is in Idaho and had never done yoga, so I found your channel and we took on your 28 day challenge together. Each day a text that reads "Namaste" means we have done your challenge for the day. We are delighted that each day starts with CBC before Carol.) We have obtained our yoga straps and will begin your 30 day challenge next week. Thank you for being you, and for all that you do!

Thank you, Carol! This series was easy to follow and rewarding! It was easy to come back each day as it fulfilled my expectations, challenged me, and did not cause me to feel badly if I was not able to complete every move. I plan to continue to follow more videos

I am 72 years old. Have had problems with my right knee and noticed that I was getting stiff in my body. I have done other senior yoga and chair yoga but it has never been so structured and fulfilling as these sessions. Thank you so much for these classes. I am going to try the 30 Day all around body next. I love the way you build on top of previous lessons. Great job, I was able to keep up. 👏👏

I am 72 years, have never done yoga Only qigong. The way You are doing this suites me well. You are sheerful and positive. Thank you, Love it. Will go this from 14-28 again and then look into your other videos. 🙏

Carol, I just wanted to say thank you soooo very much for your kindness & goodness! I followed along with you EVERY day on the 28 day yoga challenge! I was ecstatic that I finished, and yes it was a great fulfilling accomplishment!!! You’re the best! Your calm, patient, encouraging voice is second to none! I’m new to yoga, and I was sore for a while. I could definitely tell a difference in a number of ways from my energy level to my flexibility and other assets in between. I will be sticking with you on other videos. So….thank you again for what you do!

Hi Carol! I wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed this 28 day Challenge and how much I appreciate you so generously offering these classes. It's clear that you are a very experienced yoga teacher. I especially enjoy the various levels of challenge you offer. I love the Add Ons. I'm always so excited to see what you're going to throw in next and whether I am able to do it or not. Only once in while has a pose been too difficult for me to navigate. I also appreciate the detail in your instructions as far as what various body parts should be doing. Often it felt like you were looking right at me. "Don't let your knee fall in." Oops! I can fix that. I would like to continue and by digging around a little bit I found that you have two 30 Day Challenges to follow. I would like to go in chronological order and it looks like the 28 Day Challenge came first, then Around the Body and that you recently finished the Active Class. Is this correct?

Hi Carol! Namaste and thank you for sharing these wonderful videos. I completed my 28 day challenge today. I am planning to do the 30 day Around the body challenge after this. I have a weak left knee and arthritis. But I was able to complete this challenge quite nicely and without pain. I am 62 years old and I am 6 kgs overweight. I don't suffer from any other ailment. I hope this second challenge is going to be equally empowering for me. Thank you so much once again. 🙏 Nandita from India!

Thank you I have so enjoyed this program and it has been easy to join in even during a breast cancer diagnosis where I faltered for a week or two but am now back on track. The upper body work will be important for my surgery so I will continue on with this in the future. Thank you for coming into my living room and giving me 40 minutes each day with no pressure for just me.

Day 10! I love Warrior poses and twists! Although I still wake with joint stiffness, there is definitely an easing, and certainly less discomfort. Thank you Carol. Namaste xx
