To put it simply, ISIS-K (Isis in Afghanistan) doesn't think the Taliban are that batshit crazy enough

Muslim+afghan+pashtun here, you repeated a few lies that have been circulating in the internet. Social media and television aren't banned in the slightest in Afghanistan. There are bans on women's education (unfortunately) but not to the extent that you mentioned. 13 of the 34 provinces allow women to go to school and university, and almost 80% of private institutions allow women's education across the board; from the 1st grade up to masters degrees. Women can travel alone in Afg contradicting the notion that "women are banned from public places". Plus, persecution from the government is at an all time low, much lower than the previous "democracy". All in all, corruption and crimes have been reduced, and harmful drug trades disrupted.

Edit: I am not saying whether they are objectively good or bad; I am just making a comparison, and by comparison they are slightly better than the previous Afghan government.

Edit 2: Nursing students will be allowed into universities in the upcoming semester, and medical students the semester after that. Note that this is only for public universities. Private universities were open to women from the beginning.

You know it's a tough neighborhood when even the Taliban have to fight terrorists who think they don't go far enough.

They don't have same goals. ISIS wants to create Islamic republic across the world and increase the area under Islamic rule. Taliban, though equally extremist, are nationalists and want independent Afghanistan. They are currently fighting for the neighbouring areas in Iran and Pakistan that they consider were historically Afghan

It's because they see each other as a threat. Even if they share the same goals, they're both paranoid enough to assume they'll drive a knife through the other's back.

To put it simple: the Taliban is more so a Pashtun nationalist group, while ISIS views national allegiance as heretical. To name one of the big reasons.

During the cold war...
USA: Here are a bunch of weapon, now go fight those Soviets!
Insurgents: Ok
When Taliban rose up...
USA: Alrighty, uhh can we have our Rocket Launchers back?
Taliban: *no*
