Im iraqi (baghdad) and I'll tell you that Kurdish and Afghan women are some of the bravest women ever. Kurdish women fought against ISIS and Afghan women are speaking up about Taliban.

"No, I'm not afraid. Why should I be afraid? We're talking about something right."

I love that.

At the time when we people are crying at the sight of homeworks and exams, there are people who actually understand the value of education since they have lost it. Hope things get better for these girls.

These men are so threatened by educated, independent women.

Heartbreaking. My mom taught me that education is everything. I could not imagine a life where I could not go to school, learn a skill, and work.

I live in the UK and am so embarrassed to say that as a 44year old women I avoided school and education and that's all these girls want makes me now few ashamed and realise how lucky I was

The less a women is educated the more men can control them, this has nothing to do with religion. It's okay for a men in Afghanistan to play with little boys, but not allow women to go to school. This is so sad.

So sad to know of the life each Afghan girl lives in the country under the cruel ruling of the Taliban. These girls spoke courageously with smiling faces that one day every girl in Afghan will live a happy life like every one. God bless you all the women in Afghanistan..

I met an Afghani woman, and she helped me resume my career teaching her kids at home when I was unemployed. Seriously these women are amazing when they said they want to show the world that they can do so much and help. They meant it! I am forever grateful for her helping me. They are extremely smart and intelligent.
