In Afghanistan, an increasing number of restrictions have been imposed on women by the Taliban government.

In the past month, women have been banned from parks, gyms and swimming pools.

Girls have been barred from secondary schools in most parts of the country and women are restricted from working in some sectors.

A Taliban spokesman defended the restrictions, saying Islamic laws were not being followed.

Easy for men not to break any rules when you don't place any rules on them!

"Women have equal rights to men" meanwhile, he literally just banned women from parks 💀

It's like a satirical comedy about cave men, but they forgot to write any of the jokes.

I must salute her confidence in sitting in front of the Taliban and speaking straight to the point, it is not as easy as it seems.

You just said women didn’t follow the rules of hijab in the park therefore they are banned, then 5 minutes later you say afghan women support the hijab don’t compare us to other countries?

For any woman who was not born in this country, it is the equivalent of a lifelong blessing.

Guys, you need to give this man more credit. He did well in this interview considering how he had to struggle the entire time to control himself seeing the front of her hair 😂

He said "the hadoth says women should be covered but it's OK for their eyes to be seen so they can see".
Sums it up why they demand their mouths are covered.
Absolutely barbaric.

It’s not like we expect him to answer any of her questions honestly 🤷🏾‍♀️

You cannot reason with an idiot. To see a woman's hair in public which might cause a man to get sexually aroused is friggin absurd. Power to the woman of Afganistan.

His look of disgust at the end of the interview said it all

That we still have theocracies built on fanatism in the 21st century is insane.
