Excel CONTAINS function – Check IF a value exists in a range

In this video, we will demonstrate how the CONTAINS function works in Excel. The CONTAINS function allows you to check if specific values or a range of values exist within a given range of cells. The CONTAINS function uses three required arguments: The first argument is a single value or range we want to check in the search range. The search range is a range of numbers where we find matching values. The third argument enables you to use partial matches. If the argument is TRUE, the function returns TRUE if one or more values are found in the search range.

Important: In the latest version of DataFX, we replaced the function name to CONTAINS2.

Very useful function but how do I modify it if I want to find if a list of numbers contains the digits 2, 3, 5, and 7 only (so I can highlight the cells containing these numbers) as i need to keep only "Prime-free" numbers (in base 6)
