Welcome to the complete edition of what if Fives killed Palpatine! Arc Trooper Fives arrived on Coruscant alongside Jedi master Shaak Ti, and the Kaminoan scientist Nala Se. After claiming that the inhibitor chips were part of a Separatist plot, Chancellor Palpatine asks to speak to Fives alone. Shaak Ti, Nala Se and Mas Amedda leave them, as Palpatine looks at the trooper deviously. Several moments pass, until Shaak Ti reacts to the supposed cries of pain from Palpatine. The three who had left the room earlier rush in, and see Fives fighting against Palpatine’s guard, then point his blaster rifle at the Chancellor. Shaak Ti manages to Force push Fives away and save the Chancellor, as he continued to feign his innocence. Although Fives had gotten away from Shaak Ti, the fate of the clones and the Jedi was sealed by his failure to shoot and kill Palpatine, and prevent Order 66. But what if Fives had killed Palpatine? How would Dooku respond to the fall of his master? What would happen to the Senate? As you are about to discover, Fives will shift the landscape of the galaxy…

What Happens?
Dooku becomes the new Sith Lord and tries to find a way to activate Order 66 to wipe out the Jedi. However, he cannot as Order 66 can only be activated by the Chancellor of the Republic. The Clone Wars will last longer until Dooku is killed or replaced. However, it might be possible if the Jedi help Dooku abandon the Sith yet continue to lead the Confederacy of Independent Systems thus brining peace to the galaxy.

Palpatine doesn't carry hidden lightsabers at all. They were hidden in artifacts in his office before his fight with the Jedi and just brought out to defeat Maul and Savage during TCW show. Palpatine is smarter than that.
