What If Dooku KILLED Darth Sidious After Killing Yaddle

When Master Dooku joined the dark side he pledged himself to Darth Sidious. What If Dooku Killed Sidious After Killing Yaddle? Would Dooku be able to build a sustainable system to counter that of the republic? Without Palpatine would he see a need for the Republic, the Jedi, or the clones?

What if Vader learned about Dooku’s ideology and respected it given that Palpatine was evil. So much that he regretted killling him and used the world between worlds to save him and use him to kill Palpatine

Finally someone who realises Count Dooku's power. Sure, he is not as powerful as Sidious, but he is far closer than most people think. Remember, he has a lot of advantages over Sidious, like more training, life experience and a better mindset for fighting (calmer and calculated). I've always believed that Dooku could have somehow defeated Sidious alone by a miracle, or a surprise attack, like in this fan faction video. I have also always believed him to be at the very least equal to Yoda, or just a tiny bit stronger. Also we must not forget the fact that he was always a good man not that deep inside, he made sure the pillar didn't fall on Skywalker and Kenobi while Yoda was saving them, plus he wouldn't have really wished for Yoda's death. He still refers to him as Master Yoda and doesn't protest again Yoda calling him, ,my old apprentice". As for his final duel, I believe thing would have gone in a different way if Sidious didn't interfere in the duel. Still, Dooku's age caught up to him, I just think that Anakin and Kenobi should have defeated him togheter at that point (with Sidious's help of course), since I don't believe he was that weak at this point, nor Anakin was all that powerful. Yet.
Once again, I don't consider Dooku to be a god in terms of power, but still, he is closer to Sidious than many think and at least equal to Yoda if he does go all out. In my personal ranking (not influenced at all by legends and canon), he ranks third power wise. Kinda close to Sidious and not close at all to Vader, who I believe is like Dooku to Yoda. At the very least equal, if not a bit stronger (peak prime power).

Jedi Dooku could kill a Palpatine ( During TPM/TOTJ) Plaguies held them as equals and considered abandoning Palpatine for Dooku cuz of Dookus mental state, not to mention that Dooku was already trained as a Jedi so training as a Sith too would have made him even more powerful than Palpatine.

Got a couple suggestions:

What if after retuning during the Clone Wars, Maul leaked to the galaxy that Palpatine was a Sith?

What if the Jedi executed Order 65?

What if, instead of using droids and clones, the CIS and Republic used their own citizens? Also, how would that affect the Jedi’s perception of the war?

What if Naboo unanimously (Gungans included) decided to join the CIS and replace Padme as their senator?



What if the Jedi regrouped more or less immediately after Episode Three?

What if Cere killed Vader?

What if Bode didn’t betray Cal and kill Kordova?

What if Cal decided to hear Denvik out?

What if Padme joined Dooku on Geonosis?

What if Windu took more Jedi with him to fight Sidious?

This an excellent video, Mr. Pente Patrol. Palpatine's death is caused by Dooku's lightsaber plunge into the Dark Lord of the Sith's neck, which I could imagine is very brutal. Still, the Galactic Republic dissolved itself into civil war without a skilled politician like Palpatine. Things went bad to worse, and of course, the Core Worlds, along with the elites and politicians, would send many people who have no problem throwing lives to die into a conflict all because they don't want to change their ways and do not want to lose their power and wealth. But this is a genius idea to make an original Star Wars story based on inspiration now that is BRILLIANT, my friend; please keep up the fantastic work, and remember you are worthy of love, respect, and recognition.

Dude this was actually a really cool story and I like your thought process on the Republic falling and letting it happen by itself instead. If there was a Star Wars what if series and this was an episode, I can see it going along these lines so well. This is now one of my favorite what ifs I’ve ever watched. Great job on this
