My father's mother was obsessed with her cats. She died four years ago, and by gosh, I wish I could have shown her this when she was alive. It would tickle her pink. All I can do, then, is think fondly of her love for cats, and laugh at both that and this video.

Why does the timbre of his voice make me think of Sir Patrick Stewart? The cadence and inflection sound like Picard giving an impassioned bluff to some cosmic space entity that goes by "mother", inflicting its control over the cosmos with seemingly good intentions but dolling cruel, dampening punishments to those who defy her authority.
