I do love that GLaDos views all humans either with disdain, dettached scientific indifference, outright hostility, or as test subjects... except for Batman. She trusts Batman.

Every time I go back to this song the “All of this fun. Without you.” line makes me so sad. Glados is trying to convince herself that she’s fine without Chell while masking it as telling her she’s missing out.

I know everybody’s going on about how sweet / sad this is, but I’m only realising *just* how terrifying GLaDOS is in third person, when you can properly compare her to a human.

I remember my brother got Lego Dimensions, and when I found out there was a Portal section I had to do it for him.

Him, me and my Dad then played the game and completed it together.

And when this song played, I started crying because 1) it was unexpected and 2) Portal and Portal 2 were my introductions to gaming, and to have one more GLaDOS song just made me so so happy. It was like seeing an old friend again.

My dad didn't get why I was crying though and called me a baby, and you know what? Damn right I am when this woman sings!

My favourite line is when she's talking about Batman and she says "someone who won't kill me." Not only does it reference Chell killing her, but it's also a reference to Batman's no kill rule.

I'm not sure if Batman would kill an AI. Would he kill Braniac? GLaDOS was technically human once.
