This ad appeared before my YouTube video, help idk where it came from?

Video 97/100. I am uploading a video every day @12PM & 12AM CST, until I reach 100 videos on my channel. If you found this video entertaining and would like to see more content from me, then subscribe :)

Drop this as a 30 second unskippable ad and I'd watch it all the way.

I would absolutely steal an ad blocker and I would absolutely download a car.

Fun fact, the FBI reccomends people use adblockers as a form of protection against malicious ads.

I love that YouTube recommended me this. There’s something bittersweet about it.

When even the FBI reccomends using ablockers, you know Goggle's stance against them is unjustified

My favourite way of looking at it is that if you don't have an adblocker, YouTube is punishing you for doing what they want you to do.

When I visit my parents and watch youtube on their TV without an adblocker, I am reminded that I should be grateful for the technology other people provide to save my time

God I love how well you emulated the style of that old copyright PSA

Youtube without an adblocker would be a site I abandoned.

Not being able to view dislikes is an abysmal idea. I downloaded the dislikes plugin as soon as it came out. Can't imagine being without it.

If excessive ad's are a crime, AdBlock's are self defense.

this channel really seems to be throwing spaghetti at the wall and seeing what sticks, and tbh this one really is sticking for me

Ironically, people start installing adblocker because YouTube forcing us to watch 5 minutes unskippable ads, twice in a row for 30 seconds video.

Remember when ads in YouTube are just 5 seconds skippable? Ads only happen when video started?, today for 10 minutes video, there's an ads for every 3 minutes.

I'm protecting my mental health by adblocking.

Funny story here, so I have an adblocker that stopped working when YouTube started their war on ad blockers. At first I was upset but kind of stopped caring after a while and just dealt with the Ads. So I paused my ad blocker and moved on with ads. But, then youtube started blocking my videos and told me to pause my already paused ad blocker. The only way I could continue watching videos on YouTube was to either disable my ad blocker for ALL websites or turn it back on for youtube. The choice was an easy one, my newly updated adblocker is now back on and I'm happy. YouTube made me turn on a adblocker.

YouTube flew too close to the sun with their ads. They used to be tolerable in length and content, but now almost every video has 2 ads, and the ads are often for shitty mobile games with disgusting fetish content in them. If they didn’t try increase the amount of ads, everyone would be chill, but they did. They slowly increased the frequency of ads and hoped nobody would catch on, but we did, and now they’re fucked. Also, this whole war on adblockers just made tons of people more aware that you can use adblockers, and is therefore having the completely opposite affect.

Edit: They’ve done it again. An update was rolled out recently that makes it so when you skip the first ad in a double ad, the second still plays. This is exactly what I mean by them slowly increases ad quantity and hoping nobody notices. Also, the first ad is pretty much always unskippable anyway now.

It’s the same thing with YouTube as with every other website: If you have a few ads, nobody complains. But if your website hides behind a giant wall of ads to the point that I can’t use it properly, then I either use adblockers to help me navigate trough that garbage, or I don’t use your website at all.

I'm still chuckling about the fact that, on occasion, _YouTube_ tells people that using ad-blockers goes against their Terms of Service, but they fail to actually cite themselves or prove that statement. Nowhere in the ToS does it say anything about blocking ads.

I used to be fine with ads. Over the years they've been getting just more and more aggressive with them, while caring less about whether the ad is for something authentic or a scam. Eventually the highly aggressive and poorly monitored advertising on the platform became too much for me so I did only what made sense to do outside of finding a different, less popular platform.

And the dislikes, their removal made no sense to me, getting those back was a must.
