I just made these. I used fresh Cilantro as the herb and added two pressed garlic cloves, a Tablespoon of Valentino hot sauce to the tuna, and a bit of ground Cumin, along with the rest of the recipe. They were delicious but the sauce was too heavy on the mayo and I didn't care for it. I will say that since canned tuna is already cooked, cooking alters the texture so that it feels even drier in the mouth. Some kind of grated cheese in them probably wouldn't hurt to help camouflage the dryness. Careful on the salt because the tuna is already salted. You could probably leave it out altogether.

I make tuna and egg salad mixed together my mother-in-law used to make it for her kids I thought it sounded awful until I made it and it is very good you just have to chop the egg up tiny, add ingredients as if making separate, it's very good.
