This topic felt more like it was addressed directly to me, haha. I don't bite my nails, but I do have plenty of other ones that I need to deal with [cough -procrastination - cough].

That moment when your bad habit is wayyy different and weirder than biting nails and procrastination that you’re still confused on what to do.... ahahaha....

Edit a year later: I don’t even remember what my habit was I’m was just dumb and over dramatic

I chew my nails so much..their under my actual nail bed and made a new one 0-0 This actually really helped me in my life to painting them and to write or draw better. (It WAS hard to write with so little nails) thanks!

Habits are hard to break, only the truth can really help you overcome habits because the truth fulfills you where ever you are, with what ever you are doing so you don't feel like something is missing, so you don't have to think or do anything to fill the void of what is missing. True fulfillment is the way to overcome bad habits and learning the real truth of life is the way to true fulfillment. The truth reveals the best possible news, this is truth the evidence suggests. Doing my bad habit while watching this video 🙃

My main vice is picking at the area around my cuticles. Sometimes to the point where I draw blood. It is mainly triggered by stress but also I think boredom and idle hands.

I'm going to work on this by always keeping something in my hands to play with instead of my cuticles. I have this little anxiety thing that's like a marble inside a little mesh tube that you can push around. So I'm going to start carrying this around with me.

Also trying to avoid stress, but as a freshman in college I've got plenty of that.

I am horrible with biting my nails, and it has affected me emotionally, and physically. It damages my teeth, and I get into fights with my family because they try to help me. But your ideas helped me, so thank you so much!!
