I will always love Aragorn and Arwen, Faramir and Eowyn together. But the scenes of Aragorn and Eowyn are beautiful. I do understand how Aragorn took pity on her and show how he cares for her. That's not giving false hope in my opinion. But this care and loyalty they have for one another is beautiful

I really feel for Eowyn. I fell in love with my best friend, I know that they're not really best friends I would say, but it was something that was not meant to be for us, and it was extremely, excruciatingly heartbreaking and I have not found my true love that I believe is out there somewhere. But the way he lets her know I mean yes he is rejecting her but he's doing it in a way that's, sweet and soft and gentle, saying that that line "I have wished you joy since I first saw you" I mean that's just beautiful, I can't even... and he's being completely honest. Even though it is a sad scene for her it's a beautiful scene as a whole I believe.

You should read all the background of Arwen/Aragorn relationship, you wouldn't be saying "Eowyn was better for Aragorn blablabla". Arwen has always been his soulmate, always and she's no an annoying character, we don't get to see her a lot, be she's really important (She saves Frodo, she gives hope to Aragorn and it's because she chooses a mortal life that his father decides to reforge the sword) and her choice was really brave and says a lot about their love for each other.
