Показать описание
It is night time. Aragorn sits smoking his pipe, thinking of Arwen. He appears lying sleeping on a couch in Rivendell

(fades into a place where Aragorn and Arwen are.)
Aragorn: I am asleep. This is a dream.
Arwen: Then it is a good dream.
(Arwen and Aragorn kiss.)
Arwen: Sleep.
(Arwen gets up and walks toward a place where she can look outside. Aragorn looks at her)

Elrond: I will not leave my daughter here to die.
Aragorn: She stays because she still has hope.

Aragorn: Edra le men, men na guil edwen, haer o auth a nîr a naeth. *You have a chance for another life away from war…grief…despair.
Arwen: Why are you saying this?
Aragorn: I am mortal. You are Elf-kind. It was a dream, Arwen. Nothing more.
Arwen: I don’t believe you.
(Aragorn opens his hand to give the Evenstar back to her)
Aragorn: This belongs to you.
Arwen: It was a gift.
(Arwen closes Aragorn’s hand)
Arwen: Keep it.
