Start with GarageBand then go to logic X Pro

I bought logic this year and have made some really good beats with it. But I always come back to FL Studio. The browser and piano roll are second to none.

I have use both for 6 years now. I still can't decide which one is better, I just got to conclusion that there is not such a thing as a better DAW. They all have their pros and cons.
What I wish logic Pro has is the ability to glide notes like in Fl Piano Rolls and a better drag and drop sample feauture.

Basically, I’ve tried both. Both are better in their own way. Personally, I can’t decide. Both perfect in their own way

I’ve noticed that Logic Pro X is the more difficult platform. I started on Logic Pro X a couple months ago and the beginning was hell! Thankfully I found this channel🤙🏼

0:42 the only way to get logic pro x cracked on windows is to make a hackintosh

Doesn’t matter much. Using expensive software doesn’t give you talent.

ive used both personally i think for recording instruments and vocals and editing them and mixing and making it sound profressional logic i think fl is good for making hip hop beats because the patterns but for other genres its a bit of a headache, i still don't get the whole pattern making thing, but for beginners and people who dont have much musical experience defo fls

FL studio is harder learning curve, but it’s way better overall

I’m currently using GarageBand cuz I’m still a beginner and I want to upgrade to a more professional daw. Wasn’t sure if I should use logic or fl studio. On one hand logic would way easier to learn cuz I’m already experienced in GarageBand but fl studio looks like it would be a better workflow. Thanks for the advice

Don't have the money to buy a mac right now, so thinking I might buy FL then in a few years buy a mac and buy logic.

I'm considering adding FL studio to my arsenal, seems very popular with producers here in Nigeria, but the thought of starting at the bottom of the learning curve instead of continuing to do what I do best in Logic is...hmmm. Probably hard to find good comparison videos because Logic is strictly MAC and up until now FL has been strictly windows so only people who use both platforms will actually have extensive knowledge of both DAWs to share....

I use both. Both have been updated quite nicely this year. LPX is the go to simply for how simple recording is. And FL Studio has it on lock for drums. I hope Apple keeps adding features to 10. I really hope they don't put out 11 for a few years so I don't have to pay another $200. FL Studio lifetime updates is the most generous offer in any DAW. Anyways, FL Gang for life.
