"As a single man, I am very difficult to detect" pretty much sums up my early 20s.

The Kübelwagen being able to mow down trees and obliterate brick walls with ease is 100% historically accurate.

"He died a hero ... well ... um ... actually" the sudden realization had me cackling.

Fun fact:
The russian name for the game translates to "Behind Enemy Lines"
So basically you did what the name said

Lazar shishkin is very lucky to have assaulted the German division of disassociated soldiers. They might not have even understood they were at war.

The only thing missing is a cardboard box to hide in.

Lazer must be somehow related to Dimitri from Cod World at War. With their powers combined any Nazi in a 5 mile radius simply evaporates.

The german Ü is an "umlaut". it basically is "ue" without using "ue". kübelwagen means bucketcar if you translate it literally. Danke für dieses tolle Video <3

How many medals would a guy like Lazar get? Destroyed several tanks and vehicles, blew up a depot, took out an artillery site, rescued a bunch of POWs, killed near to a hundred soldiers and commandered several enemy vehicles all while inflicting heavy damage on enemy structures.

Lazar is a true main character, a masterful sniper, doing it all by himself and driving his infamous Kubelwagen. Probably my favorite video game hero.

"The old 'ignore the artillery' trick, hey?"
I thought that was more of a World War One tactic.

Kubelwagen directly translates to "Jeep of Deutschland" I know this because I made it up.

While the US dudes were workin' on the Manhattan project, the German dudes were workin' on the uberwagen - the next model of the kubelwagen.

A sniper casually taking out soldiers <100m distance without anyone questioning gunshot sounds is peak game design

Okay so. I’m a native Russian speaker and I put up the funny frog man’s vids to fall asleep to. Man the sudden DAVAI with a walkie talkie sounding audio was a doozie and a half to be started by at 1am, telling you that much

"You hear those gunshots, Johann? Oh you're taking a nap."

This reminds me of an anecdote my grandfather used to tell. His neighbor in the small village where he grew up had somehow gotten hold of a Kübelwagen after the war, which he parked in the barn. One day in the morning, the poor guy grazed the barn door as he was driving out, and that was the end of him. And the barn. It took like half a year to clear all of the rubble.
Anyway, I don't think there are any Kübelwagen around any more. The Verfassungsschutz tracked down and scrapped the last ones during the 70s.

The saddest moment of this video was Lazar ditching the Kübelwagen for an Opel Blitz…
