If you don't like the seed hulls (I don't) when the sprouts are done fill the jar with water and give the sprouts a stir. The hulls will float to the top where you can skim them off .

I love sprouts. I find it so magical to be able to bring them to life like this. It's a little like gardening but on a teeny tiny scale!

I do the very same with lentils - yes, the same ol' lentils you get at the grocery! They have a nutty taste. I haven't tried broccoli sprouts yet but they look so good in this vid... I'll keep an eye out for seeds at the store!

This is great Niamh! I've very recently started sprouting and indulging in micro greens. Loving it but haven't as yet had a taste of any....so new am I to this new-found joy!
