Dealers CAN'T SELL Their Cars Anymore So They're DUMPING THEM

In this video you will get to see what car dealers are actually paying for their cars and trucks at auction!

My name is Brandon and I am a used car dealer. I created Car Questions Answered to share the ins and outs of the used car market from my perspective. I share with you updates on car prices, what's happening at the dealer auctions, and what it's like being a dealer. My goal is to share information to help you make the best decisions while buying a car to save you money. I do not want car dealers taking advantage of you.

Thanks for watching and please feel free to leave any comments you may have in the section below!

They aren't "dumping them" as they are still overpriced. They are only deciding not to scam consumers as much as they used to.

When buying a car, I always look at the tires. The way I see it is that if they couldn't afford a set of decent tires, the car probably wasn't maintained properly.

I bought a 2000 Toyota 4Runner w/37, 000 miles in like new condition at Manheim Auto Auction in Anaheim, CA. I was literally bidding against one of the largest Toyota dealerships in the country. Their rep was disgusted when I won the auction at $13, 500. I put 250k miles on that truck and sold it for $6, 500 in 2013. Best vehicle I ever owned.

I got mail today from the local Toyota dealer wanting to see if I want to trade in my 1999 Toyota.
Remember years ago when dealers weren’t even interested in a vehicle over 5 years old?

Dumping them? Where? You can see Jeep, Ram, Nissan, Ford, etc with old 2023 vehicles and still asking ridiculous amounts of money. Like a Dodge Ram for $55, 000? Crazy

It the catastrophic colapse of the car and truck market there's no coming back from this. Its over its done, its nightmare, dealers, are going bankrupt, Jeep is selling their inventory for $15 dollars for two .

I haven't seen a 1995 4-Runner in 25 years. Rust absolutely savaged those things.

I have a 2003 Ford sport trac and the middle console leather deteriorated just as you showed on the Toyota. I purchased a .piece of leather online, matching exactly the grey in my truck for "drum roll please", $3. Yes $3. It covered the whole console (so easy taking it apart and removing the old one) and I did it in less than 5 minutes. Makes a world of difference to my elbow 🙂 and the "Look". It is now more shabby chic!

Looks like katzskin cover package. That Jeep is proof that given the chance, consumers will make the worst choices

My 2008 Toyota Corolla with 1, 100, 000 Miles is STILL my daily driver, drove it off the lot with 13 miles in October 2008.

I hate to break it to you but if you put a couple slices of bread into a dubious Fiat 500 toaster most likely it will come out totally burnt. And the reason why dealerships are dumping Jeeps is becuase they are nothing but headaches from customers who keep bringing them back to the dealer due to a myriad of defects and breakdowns that plague these flimsy vehicles.
