So my gf is treated way differently than her other siblings in the family. It affects me becuase even though her parents like me, we aren’t allowed to hang out for a long time their mom always cuts it short. Also her sister is allowed to do way more for much longer for no reason. Another thing is, my gf will get into way more trouble for things and her sister won’t at all. They both got caught for sneaking out of their house last week and her sister got her phone back in 1 day whereas my gf hasn’t gotten it back all week. It’s really hard to do things with her and it hurts. I can’t imagine how much it sucks for her I just wanna see her and give her a ton of love, but I can’t.

You should’ve said “so they know you love them as much as their siblings/anyone” not “as much as they/you can be loved” as there is a loophole in that: one could say you can’t be loved more or as much as your sibling(s).

I am an only child but this doesnt stop my mother from picking my cousin over me

It breaks my heart, my siblings have kids of their own, and i love them all equally like they are my own, i show them respect n love, but i got one issue, my mom never asks about my kids she never buys them anything, she distant herself from them, and one day me and my daughter were sitting outside at a birthday gathering and my mom was handing out gifts and everything out to her grandkids but not mine, and my daughter looks at me “does grandma love me dad?” And i couldnt help but picked her up and we left that birthday party, now my mom doesnt even invite us over. I love my mother but i think its best i cut her from me and my kids, i dont want my kids chasing her love and getting disappointed in the end :( tired of seeing this between families i will love my grandkids all the same

What's crazy is when the parent has 6 kids and two are favorite more then the other bc those two are finicially broke and there mind set isn't where needs to be go figure the oldest and youngest are favorite but someone like my spouse who hard workerband indep then there for somehow she feel that he doesn't need love it's ridiculous.

For me I don't really care... but I have two older sisters and my mom keeps comparing them, she clearly likes one more, which I hate. I love both my sister they are both caring, smart individual.i hate being around the woman, always toxic to her kids but opposite when it comes to strangers even those she gossips about rudely.its sickening

my dad has another house, , when i was studiying my sister moove in and he let her have it without even considering like we are 2 sisters that its not fair, so i have been struggling for 6 years my sister pays 0 rent has no issues & I had to moove 6 times and barely make ends mee i'm in debt on the 10th, i tried saying to my dad but he says he cannot put her out now she is there, so basically i struggled all my 22220s and she had it all for herself

Oh how many times some of my children would tell me I was playing favorites with another of them.
I completely understand, from my perspective how they might have felt that way. Yet, I do love them all the same but in different ways. A lot has to do with their love language. If you are a parent of young children I recommend you read, "The Five Love Languages for Children" by Gary Chapman. It can at the least guide you to understand your children a bit more.

My mother knew that i cant see without glasses for 2 years but when my youngest sibling told her that his vision is blurrg she quickly took him to a eye check but took be about 2 years to get checked is that favouritism?

I don't know what to do when my mom ignores me and pretends as if I don't exist.she hates my curly hair, my face and body shames me every time she has a choice while she treats my brother with love and gives him all the attention....
