Dangerous Towns
Welcome back to the world according to Briggs and a list of some of the most dangerous towns in the U.S., where you might want to consider carrying not just pepper spray but maybe a full suit of armor. These places have crime rates that could make a true-crime podcast blush, and while they may look charming on the outside, a closer look reveals something more like a nightmare episode of Scooby-Doo and Dexter combined.
These are the most dangerous towns with under 15,000 residents with the highest violent crime rate.

Do you want to move to that perfect place?
Do you need a local Realtor for the area you want to move to?

Emeryville has a high crime rate because it borders West Oakland, which is one the worst neighborhoods in Oakland.

Nice to hear the stats of the smaller cities. A lot of places I’ve never heard of before. Top notch quality content as always 👊🏻

Been to Globe AZ many times. As an Arizonan who has spent time in Tucson, Yuma, Tolleson, Tuba City,
Kayenta, Nogales, Laveen, and Prescott Valley. Globe ain’t shit when it comes to crime. Period.

Emeryville is actually between Oakland and Berkeley. And it has some attractive housing, shopping malls and nice hotels. Looks can be deceiving. Because, much of Emeryville looks very good!

Would you consider doing a video of the cities that were thriving and vibrant and now are struggling to revive themselves. For example Detroit before the import cars to our country and the oil embargo crisis. When you compare it to the foreign cities that have taken over auto manufacturing you can see those cities are building dynamic skylines. I think your subscribers would like to see the contrast.

Remember that crime rates are low if no one arrests and convicts the criminal.

I've lived in Michigan for 59 years. I've only heard it pronounced musk-ee-gun.

I remember doing a job in Salem, NJ and we were only allowed to work between 7AM to 3AM. The work hours were a hard start and finish time.

I'm not saying these places are safe, but I'm always very hesitant when it comes to statistics with tiny sample sizes. When you have a town with less than 15k population, a single bad incident can bump it to the top of the list. It's like saying that rattlesnake-taming is the world's most dangerous occupation. Well...when you've got 3 people doing it and one dies, you now have a 33% mortality rate. It would have been cool to list the populations of these towns. If one had 14k and one had 300, that would make a significant difference in how reliable the stats were.

Idk, Dexter seems like a pretty cool neighbor as long as you’re not a serial killer too.
