I’ve traveled the whole country, and I hated Spokane while growing up, but after seeing other places, I love Spokane. We have too many bums, but Spokane is still great.

Every year is different. Sometimes it doesn't snow until December and stops in January other years it starts in October and lasts through March. The more snow and rain the better, because most summers are dry hot and Smokey. But you never know what's going to happen 😁

I wanted to mention that Spokane hosts not only Bloomsday, we also host Hoopfest one of the biggest 3 on 3 basketball tournaments in the US. We also have over 70 lakes within 30 miles of the city. To say we are a big basketball town with Gonzaga is an understatement! :) (also it is pronounced Gone- Zah- Ga) Go Zags! It was interesting to watch a video about Spokane as a native. Thank you we do have a beautiful city here.

Next time you visit, skip Lake CDA and head to Lake Pend Oreille. Head up to Sandpoint for some shopping, lunch and sights. Then save room in your stomach and head back down the lake to Bayview and have a delicious, sunset dinner at The Lake House. Enjoy no cell service and an incredible view you won't forget. You'll even get a live show on the dock if you time it right.

I live in the Spokane Valley (close to Arbor Crest) Only go Downtown to visit the park. Rest of Downtown is full of weirdos and bums. Need to reopen Medical Lake’s mental hospitals.

I enjoyed the video you put together. It almost made me miss the city but honestly it isn't that beautiful if you have to overlook the amount of homeless that are there. It is turned into a skid row. It has too many drugs and too much crime for me. It's beautiful but it's been ruined

Wow.. I lived in Spokane for 12 years starting in the late '80s, and it's hardly changed from what I see here. I''ve always considered it my hometown, even though I only moved there after graduating in western WA. It's an amazing city. Soooo many parks! And perfect 4 seasons. I've wanted to move back for years.
The "pacific NW weather" comment isn't very true though. Yeah it rains, but nothing even close to western WA weather! The climate is pretty "average" in Spokane. It gives you everything.

I judge from the previous comments that you weren't in Spokan long enough to do real review...

From a lifelong Spokanite, well done! We call the catwalks, Skywalks however.

There's never been a single day in the history of Spokane weather which goes back to 1881 where there's ever been "feet" of snow in the month of September. The record snowfall for Spokane is a couple of inches on some of the last days of the month that's it-not measured in feet.

She just said it’s the most beautiful downtown. Oh my God how many homeless people did you have to step over to take that picture?

I grew up in Spokane and when I retired I moved to Arizona to escape the long cold winters. I still visit friends in Spokane when I can.

Live Spokane - Love Spokane. This July 15th, 2023 our Spokane Transit (STA) began running its new EV bus routes called "City Line". So convienient and runs late into the 11:00pm. Sooo many cool places to shop, eat and enjoy. Also if you like to gamble a bit. Northern Quest Casino(next to airport), Spokane Tribe Casino and Coeur d'Alene Casino (idaho). Gotta run...ya know the Centenial Trail!
