im depressed right now because im 26 and think the only way to make money as an artist is YT or something like that and commotions but that is getting me anywhere and my so so sad, not to 💀 myself but i feel so useless and worthless, 26 no job no friends, living is so hard... i don't like it :(

I’m so curious as to what my resume and portfolio should look like as someone who hasn’t had many art opportunities/jobs. My professor chewed me out the other day because he said my resume had “to many jobs” and it looked like I was unreliable. Really I’m just a college student who tries to work when they can 😅 this video is inspiring because I want to do art for a living but never know how to approach it! Tysm for all the great info 🥹❤️

This was a great video and good insight about all the interships you have applied. In order to get to internships, do we really need to go to art school to get it? Or can we just showcase our freelance work like commissions, fanart, etc?

I have a question regarding becoming a video editor and concept artist. I have edited videos before and have enjoyed it, however I also have my eyes set on concept art. Is there a way to incorporate editing and concept art together? Or can they only be two separate things?

Your lucky you got your foot in the door, you got blue blood or know people in high places
- My story was finish college got internship at a Marriott to then get trick to do housekeeping full time
- Pandemic happen
- 2021 return to the hotel job promise the graphic design internship I did not get in 2019 But trick again this time pool guy better than janitor but it was a nightmare. At the end I was doing the work for 5 people and it was seen as normal
-2022 left the hotel early this year and move to retail, better but still stressful, been looking for graphic design jobs in my town and I did found some, one asshole trick me twice saying I was prefect then to close the role a day later. This happen twice, and now I been applying every where here, big cities, remote nothing.
- 2023 applied at a Staffing place and I was on hold or no joke one year from January to September I went to 4 interviews for this job and got scam $60 and left my job for this job but yea it was a scam so I was out of work for 2 months and had to return to my old job.
- 2024 alot of stuff has happen where my 1st rejection and I still cant land a job and feel very burn out and depressed
