Man Who Attacked Judge Refuses to Reappear in Court: Officials

The out-of-control defendant who leaped over the bench to attack a judge refused to reappear in courtt, according to officials. The drama began yesterday when Deobra Redden was being sentenced after pleading guilty to attempted battery. After Judge Mary Kay Holthus denied his request to be placed on probation, Redden leaped over the bench and attacked her. Officials tell Inside Edition the defendant refused to walk through the tunnel system that links the courthouse to the jail where he is being held.
