I usually just put my satchel in front of of the dog, usually gives me enough time for the owner to get the dog. Never been bit. Been attacked at least 20 times, I don’t like spraying dogs. I’ve done it before and it’s effective. the satchel is the best method. And the dog doesn’t get hurt
