PLEASE "like" the video! It seriously helps the channel to grow!
Joutenheim is different from the one we saw. What's your thoughts?

Now I understand. The one Mimir showed us is different because he thinks that's what it looks like, and that's how he remembers it. Jotunheim has changed without Mimir knowing.

Maybe, Jotunheim is massive place & the peak on which both father & son spread the ashes was the 'the highest peak' and the travel room just took them there on the peak, instead of the actual entrance of the realm. Maybe the Jotunheim Mimir showed us was the actual entrance. There may be a lot of other places in Jotunheim.

I thought the same thing a while back but Atreus clearly said "We are on a finger" when we get to the end of the stairs

It also might be that Mimir had an older image in his memory which he showed to Kratos and Atreus (before all the giants left Midgard). But we see the Jotunheim after the giants left Midgard and they might have changed it themselves?

Jon Ford, I respectfully disagree with your Tyr theory because a mural in the game (I can't remember which one but I think it was in Tyr's temple) implies that Tyr is still alive and is currently captured by Odin and Thor. So during the events of the game, Tyr had no opportunity to get to Jotunheim. Though Tyr might be a possible candidate for the mysterious person who called the midgard serpent.

Mimir will play a big part in God of war ragnarok he lost part of his mind

Tyr couldn’t have been exposed to the higher power because he’s not dead. It was previously proved he’s just being kept captive by Odin

I think really all that happened was that when Mimir showed us a glimpse into Jotunheim, he did it through that specific gate that only the giants knew where the rune required to use it was. But when we went to Jotunheim we used the realm travel room with the help with Mimir when he got both of his eyes. I think that because we went through a different gate instead of the one where Baldur ambushed us, we were taken to another place within Jotunheim and then their we went up and spread Fay's ashes.

I think the reason ragnarok could have already happened in jotunheim is that not only did tyr hide jotunheim from the aesir in the physical world but also in the sense of time aswell. I think tyrs final test will be to get to jotunheim in the current timeline and he would’ve done this so that even if the aesir somehow managed to complete his tests they would arrive in jotunheim after ragnarok and all the giants would be already dead. However the giants are actually alive and well in the current timeline we just have to find out how to pass tyrs final test

Common knowledge it's the same mountain you are just closer instead of being at the bottom of the mountain you already are on the very top. At the top of Midgard next to mimir's body you are seeing the whole mountain when you enter from the temple you are on top of the tallest finger you can even see from Midgard's mountain the last bridge visible is the one you are on when going in through the temple's portal. Same mountain from 2 different perspectives

I just assumed we were just put on top of the tallest finger

Jotunheim is a complete mystery. I have a huge feeling that Tyr must have messed with time to manipulate the realm’s true timeline (That’s how giants knew that Kratos and Atreus killed Baldur. Because they saw it happen. Just a theory).
I also think that we are on top of the middle finger in Jotunheim when we visit it. We think it’s different, but in reality the realm is just much bigger than we expected and the image Mimir showed is the actual realm. When we get there we teleport to a gate and not the usual ring temple (Meaning that Jotunheim could be too gargantuan in scale to explore as a whole, which is why the developers only showed us a part of it. We might see more in future installments.).

I just thought the hand was GIANT and we were on a finger, but then they would have to be really big, so idk.
