Jotunheim Mural Explained (Kratos Will Not Die /God of War Theory)

#jotunheimmural #kratosdeath #gow4 Ever since the release of god of war 2018 we have been fascinated with the Jotunheim mural. Thanks to the official god of war novel we can make a more informed theory on who the corpse is. SPOILER ALERT! I dont think its Kratos.

I got caught up in the moment forgetting that Kratos dying is not a new concept. He'll be fine.

It makes sense that it could be Tyr because, in the mural, the dead person is missing their lower arm. In Norse mythology, Tyr has his hand bitten off by Fenrir.

Death is like a minor inconvenience for Kratos. He literally climbed his way out of hell multiple times.

That’s Mimir’s body brok and sindri will make for him after taking the measurements they took while Kratos was in Jotunhein. If you look above you can see Mimir’s tree. That is the hint as to who the man Atreus is weeping for is. I guess the runes mean Mimir’s knowledge being transferred to Atreus, making him the “smartest man alive” now since Mimir will be gone

I always thought the same. In the Tyr’s vault, it’s a image of Tyr exactly like he looks in the final mural. Good info!

I believe Kratos will die giving his powers to Atrues making him whole and then come back thanks to the Valkiries who owe him. I wonder in which state he'll come back.

So the curse translates to “come” so the meaning here should be fairly simple meaning as in "that's what she said"
