Odin may have assumed his form, but could not imitate his level of chill.

Seeing the real Tyr makes you realize Odin was basically making a mockery of him when he imitated Tyr.

I like how Odin made Tyr look like a crazy hobo with ptsd but here he seems relaxed and calm

Tyr seems like a calm and reasonable person

Tyr is like Kratos but completed his journey. He looks so calm and soothing.

I like how the real Týr isn't a traumatised pacifist. He has the calm composure and confidence of a warrior who has found peace, but there is a hint in his demeanor that while he has no intent to harm you, he still easily could. I would have loved to have seen him fight.

Tyr telling Freya that her love saved her people and made them strong, after she was told by the Norns that she kills everyone she loves, was very moving.

Real Tyr is just very philosophical. I can see why he'd be a good leader.

This is what happened when you visited all pantheons. You become chill like Tyr

Odin imitated him being broken after being imprisoned, but here he is brimming with confidence

Love that he's practicing Tai chi, a non aggressive fighting style meant more for defense than attack. While he's peaceful he's still willing to defend if necessary

I could see Tyr as a secret super boss honestly. Like he remembers the name of the once God of War, Ghost of Sparta, and asks for a spar, as simple friends. And you don't die if you lose, just get sent to 1 health and Tyr just tells you come back for another spar when you're ready

It's cool to see how they showcase Tyr doing meditations from other cultures. Adds so much to the story of Tyr visiting the other realms beyond the Norse in the previous game

It's crazy to think so much time passed with Tyr being imprisoned. He remembered Kratos' name but forgot he was the one who destroyed Olympus.

That seemed very anticlimactic to release him after centuries and hes just like "oh hey. cool"

I love how after he is freed we can see clearly Odin was making Tyr seem like a coward when in actuality Tyr is almost like a Buddhist monk

While I am glad that Tyr was alive and survived ragnarok, I am disappointed that he didn't play a bigger role in god of war ragnarok, and even more disappointed that he was only available after everything was said and done. Atreus didn't even get a chance to meet the real Tyr, which is the biggest disappointment of all.

So weird that this is just kind of a side quest most People could miss. Feels way more important than you would think

I really like this Týr. He's not running away because he's a scared little bitch; he just genuinely knows what he wants to do and right now that means walking around enjoying the breeze. He breathes calm and secure.

Super fascinating that this is optional post-game content. Like he's not part of any plot he's just a guy with a very unique perspective in all this who's stumbled onto a strange future.
So much they could do with this guy in DLC

One little touch I like about the real Týr vs. Odin's Tyr is that when OT was rescued he was worried what Odin would do to him when Týr was rescued he is worried what Odin might do to those who rescued him. He cares more for others then himself which shows why he was so loved.
