In this video I show you how to make two yummy plant based cheese sauces. One is a low fat sauce made with only a little bit of cashews and the other is competely nut free and fat free. I lost 40 lbs in 11 months when I switched to a high starch, low fat plant based diet. I read the book "The Starch Solution" by Dr. John Mcdougall and it has forever changed my life. Not only did I lose 40 lbs but I also got rid of cystic acne, bad blood pressure, prediabetes, and bad cholesterol. I also had many female health issues going on that completely reversed after eating this way. Im sharing my journey and how I did it.

recipe:
3 cups peeled diced potato
1/2 cup diced carrot
1/2 cup raw cashews (replace with canned white beans or simply leave out)
4 tbsp nutritional yeast
1 tsp onion pwdr
2 tsp garlic pwdr
2 tsp salt
squeeze of 1/4 lemon
2-3 cups water, 1 1/2 cups if doing nut free
for fat free leave out cashews and replace with 1/2 cup white beans or leave beans out as well and just blend ingredients, adding less water to the fat free one

I just made my second batch of this. I used cashews the first time, and I used beans in the second batch. This is amazing both ways! I always find a way to make things easier as I'm not an enthusiastic cook. This recipe works great using canned diced potatoes and canned carrots. No peeling/cooking potatoes. Easy and delicious! I only have a Nutribullet, but I just blended half at a time and then combined it in a jar. Soooo good! Thanks!

Kiki adding 2 tsp of smoked paprika to your cheese gives another version I’m sure you will love too ! Thx for all you do !

I just made the cheese sauce and had it over brown rice, lentils, broccoli, and asparagus. It's kind of a miracle.

For keto folks concerned about gaining weight by eating carbs, I lost 40 lbs in 5 months by eating WFPB and I’m 66 years of age. Just be sure to do half plate philosophy! If I can do it anyone can. Good luck.

YALL! You gotta try this! I was skeptical for several weeks because I’ve tried a lot of potato carrot cheeses and they sucked. I finally made the fat free one and added white beans instead of cashews and OMGGGG. Y’all this is BEYOND DELICIOUS! I even had my family try it so I could prove I’m not crazy and they legit thought it was cheese! Thank you KIKI! This is a major WIN!! 🤩🙌🏽🤩

Omg. You're a wizard! I made the fat free version but with garbanzo beans instead of white beans and HOLY SMOKES. It BLEW. MY. MIND. how much this tastes like real queso!!! This is one of the best vegan recipes I have come across in terms of accurately getting the taste of a non vegan food once you make it vegan. It's crazy that it's so simple and cheap too. I am definitely saving this recipe to impress my family with how GOOD vegan food can

OMG! I just made this for the first time (the version with cashews) and it's absolutely delicious!! I love this better than the cheese sauce recipes that use only cashews. I added just a pinch more salt and a pinch of cayenne and wow!! I'm blown away. Even my boyfriend who's totally not vegan loves it, too. Thank you! This is priceless, really!

You guys, I have tried every cheese sauce out there, I swear. After trying well your world's cheese sauce, I almost gave up. This one is a winner! I tried the one with cashews. The only change I made was I added 1/2 a juiced lemon instead of 1/4, because I like it a little tangier, like a sharp cheddar. Yummy!! I can finally stop looking for cheese sauces.

My husband had his gallbladder removed and can’t process fat the way he used to anymore so we’ve been finding fat free recipes! I recently stumbled upon your channel and it’s been so amazing! Favorite cheese sauce, and I've tried them all. I boil my potatoes, carrots, and cashews together. When I don't have a fresh lemon, I use apple cider vinegar instead. Yummy!

I have tried sooo many vegan cheese sauces and I ended up throwing them all out. They were gross! I just made your fat free version without the beans and girl, you have just won me over! Even my 4 and 8 year olds couldn’t tell it wasn’t real cheese sauce! I’ve been vegan since March and have been missing cheese so much. Thank you so much for sharing!

Just made this cheese sauce with the cashews and it is unbelievable! I couldn’t believe that only 1/2 cup of cashews and these veggies along with nutritional yeast could really taste like cheese. This is a game changer! Also I got a full quart jar plus almost a full pint jar so this s a great way to stretch the fat.
