Never felt better cutting on average 90%+ carbs out of my diet. I feel so full and never crave food anymore. my weight is stable.

"If I cut carbs, I won't have the energy for my training or my workout." Really? Because last Sunday I ran the Modesto Marathon and finished with yet another Boston Marathon qualifying time. I haven't eaten a carb or a plant in three years. So, you're wrong. But thanks for the tip. I'll keep that in mind as I sprint across the finish line with no energy. 😂😂😂

Oh, dear. I am 13 months Carnivore, started strength training and aerobics two months ago. I was expecting to be exhausted, but no! The only carbs I have after training is sometimes liver cooked in high fat sour cream.

Carbs are sugar. Sugar’s an affliction. Bad advice for many of us.

'good carbohydrate' is an oxymoron.

the fact that the guy espouses rice and "doesn't mind" if you "even" throw in fruit tells you pretty much everything you need to know about him and his "knowledge"

People respond in different ways depending on genetics. I have a friend who can live on Doritos and Sprite without gaining weight or feeling hungry. Eating beef makes him feel lethargic and gross. For me, the carbs put me into a sleepy, grumpy, eternal hunger, and beef makes me feel normal. One of us has never been fat, because doing so would take deliberate effort and discomfort for him. I suspect that fitness people who talk about carbs being great for energy are born sugar burners. Those of us who struggled with obesity are more likely to store carbs like a pre-hibernation bear rather than get jumpy and fidgety. I was like 25 before I learned that sugar zoomies were a real thing that happened to kids, and not just something parents made up. I thought it was like the "don't make funny faces or it'll get stuck." My face never got stuck, and I never got bouncy from a 3 Musketeers bar.

I would've gone with the BIG steak knife, but that's just me.

Rice and sweet potatoes! No! It's called being "fat adapted".

🤔 *How many High School or Collegiate Athletes cut out carbs?* *How many Olympians?* How about NFL, MLB, NBA etc.?

I just completed a 15 1/2 very taxing mountain bike ride up the Arizona mountains. I did all that with no carbs 🤔

Low carbs and high fat diet has given me almost endless energy that my neighbors can’t believe, and the best part? I’m never hungry.

Someone needs to tell him that 'fat adapted' means you burn fat for fuel. Just tell him politely 'cos he might fly into a carb rage. 🤣🤣

Hmm... for me:

Rice = put on fat
Sweet potatoes = put on fat
Honey = put on fat
Maple syrup = put on fat
Berries = very small amounts or...you guessed it, put on fat
Bananas = put on badonkadonk levels of fat

No thanks, fat and then protien. I have plenty of energy for my training.

Eff that! My diet is obligatory nearly zero carb. I start putting any plant sugars in my system and it gets angry. Otherwise I feel like superman and routinely work 13-16 hr days cutting trees. Wish I had felt like this as a kid.
